Kuwait Population Pyramid 2007
Kuwait in 2007
In 2007, Kuwait had a total population of 2,507,886 people. That is 40.3% more than in 1997, when the population stood at 1,787,683.
Half of the population was younger than 28.6 years; 24.1% were children under 15 and 1.7% were 65 or older. The pyramid is constrictive: cohorts of children are smaller than those of their parents, reflecting low fertility and an ageing population.
