More developed regions Population Pyramid 2013
More developed regions in 2013
In 2013, More developed regions had a total population of 1,252,414,802 people. That is 4.0% more than in 2003, when the population stood at 1,203,759,607.
The median age was 40.6 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 24.7 children under 15 and 25.2 people aged 65 or over. This is a constrictive pyramid — its base is narrower than its middle, the signature of sustained low birth rates and population ageing.
