Northern Africa Population Pyramid 2021
Northern Africa in 2021
As of 2021, Northern Africa counted 260,481,890 inhabitants. That is 21.3% more than in 2011, when the population stood at 214,704,154.
Half of the population was younger than 25.1 years; 32.8% were children under 15 and 5.2% were 65 or older. This is an expansive pyramid — each cohort of children is larger than the one above it, the signature of high birth rates and rapid growth.
