Northern Europe Population Pyramid 2019
Northern Europe in 2019
In 2019, Northern Europe had a total population of 105,705,962 people. That is 6.5% more than in 2009, when the population stood at 99,276,745.
The median age was 40.4 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 27.9 children under 15 and 29.4 people aged 65 or over. The narrow base of the pyramid marks a constrictive age structure: fertility below replacement level and a rising share of older people.
