Northern Europe Population Pyramid 2022
Northern Europe in 2022
As of 2022, Northern Europe counted 107,439,462 inhabitants. Over the previous ten years the population grew by 6.3%, up from 101,064,060 in 2012.
The median age was 40.9 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 27.3 children under 15 and 30.3 people aged 65 or over. The narrow base of the pyramid marks a constrictive age structure: fertility below replacement level and a rising share of older people.
