Oceania Population Pyramid 2010
Oceania in 2010
In 2010, Oceania had a total population of 37,253,766 people. Over the previous ten years the population grew by 18.8%, up from 31,352,624 in 2000.
The median age was 31.9 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 37.2 children under 15 and 16.1 people aged 65 or over. This is a stationary pyramid — similar numbers in each age group up to the older cohorts, the signature of near-replacement fertility.
