Ukraine Population Pyramid 2017
Ukraine in 2017
As of 2017, Ukraine counted 45,436,042 inhabitants. That is 3.5% less than in 2007, when the population stood at 47,062,798.
The median age was 40.9 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 22.4 children under 15 and 23.2 people aged 65 or over. The pyramid is constrictive: cohorts of children are smaller than those of their parents, reflecting low fertility and an ageing population.
