Ukraine Population Pyramid 2023
Ukraine in 2023
In 2023, Ukraine had a total population of 37,732,836 people. Over the previous ten years the population declined by 18.2%, down from 46,126,770 in 2013.
The median age was 43.1 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 21.3 children under 15 and 27.6 people aged 65 or over. The pyramid is constrictive: cohorts of children are smaller than those of their parents, reflecting low fertility and an ageing population.
