Ukraine Population Pyramid 2024
Ukraine in 2024
The population of Ukraine in 2024 was 37,860,222. A decade earlier, in 2014, the population was still 45,972,380; it has declined by 17.6% since.
Half of the population was younger than 43.2 years; 13.9% were children under 15 and 19.0% were 65 or older. The pyramid is constrictive: cohorts of children are smaller than those of their parents, reflecting low fertility and an ageing population.
