Western Sahara in 2018

In 2018, Western Sahara had a total population of 525,782 people. That is 38.1% more than in 2008, when the population stood at 380,822. The median age was 31.1 years, and for every 100 people of working age (15–64) there were 34.5 children under 15 and 7.3 people aged 65 or over. The near-vertical sides of the pyramid indicate a stationary age structure, with births roughly balancing the passage of cohorts into older age.
